    9:23 is so intense

  2. Paradise737 says:

    Why not?

Tchaikovsky has a useful ability to make his compositions sound better than they actually are–but this, imo, is one of his best ones, and much better than his violin concerto.

    Always makes me cry! Beautiful!!!!

  4. Crawford1987 says:

actually I’ve been to over 15 concerts. I’m very familiar with this composition and and i’ve seen this performed by multiple pianists.

  5. Juliettjebravo2 says:

Crawford, you’ve never been to a concert before..

  6. aequesadacr says:

    finally, i locate part 1,

    thanks for posting!

  7. hobiehippo says:

what level of experience would you say this is (eg. years of learning piano, practicing the piece, learning notes) ?

  8. hobiehippo says:

what do you mean her interpertation isnt she playing it how it is written? is she playing to fast/slow ??

  9. Music2Die4 says:

For me, her interpretation moves me as much as anybody for this concerto….. Vive la difference.

  10. Music2Die4 says:

I don’t think she’s “pushing forward” the tempo at all…..

  11. kevinjamespiano says:

why does she keep pushing forward the tempo?

  12. knock4321 says:

superb technique! but I’m not moved by her interpretation, I don’t know why. Do we have to know why?

  13. inturtaner says:

I gave this video 4 stars- the performance is amazing, but the piano concerto itself isn’t worth a full unquestioned five. at least in my opinion

  14. benmok7 says:

The only thin i didn’t like about this imterpretation is the beginning. Lack power and crisp. But overall very well done.

  15. MfourK says:

strange how people can be like this…

  16. TheWickedNorth says:

    such an amazing work

  17. sadandsadistic says:

Moving, just look at the way the pianist throws her body across her vibrant instrument, making it appear as alive as she, what a beautiful piece!

  18. satchit108 says:

you’re sick… why are you such a racist? please don’t be so stupid.

  19. Brahmstein99 says:

but her interpretation isnt bad, i heard bader ones from white pianists;)

im shocked about ur views, so no white man is allowed to make jazz? … thats nonsense

  20. zensorship says:

this is WHITE music! Asians take your yellow hands of it! you have enough own music to play.

  21. dragonflyer1212 says:

5:54 shows you that it is a steinway.

  22. theiamsadsong says:

    this piece is absolutly breath-taking!

  23. deepsource1976 says:

I am an Asian, but quite agree with your point of view. I think Asian people may be very good at technical things, but not really talented in lyrical or other performing artical things.

  24. inturtaner says:

its not racist to acknowledge that different races are different. I’m not saying I completely agree that Asians tend to be less lyrical per say, but If thats an observation someones made they have the right to think that without being called insensitive or racist.
