It’s a spinnet (an upright piano) and we’d be moving it from Texas to California. Anybody got any ideas how much it would cost to hire a professional piano mover to move it that far?

I want to move a grand piano about 15 feet. It has wheels, but they will leave marks in the floor if the piano is rolled. Are there small dollies made for supporting piano legs?

How do you price a used old piano for re sale?

My aunt is in assisted living, getting rid of her things. This piano was stored in basement for over 24 years I believe. It is Huntington Brand, but due to age and never being tuned for years and place where stored, what is best method of disposing of it. Donation, or free and have persons be responsible getting out of a basement which will be a bear. Any reasonable suggestions would be appreciated.

Can I store a grand piano in a desert climate?

I have a beautiful grand piano, but am downsizing my living space for a couple of years. I have a large storage space at the new place but it is not air conditioned and it is always very dry (no humidity at all) and sometimes very hot (up to 100 degrees). Would it be safe to store my piano there without damaging it?

What would happen to a piano if you painted it? Would it harm it at all?

I know it’s a stupid question, but I have never seen a piano any other colour than just natural wood. I was wondering if it would harm a piano in any way if you painted it?
